The Parish Council employs a local contractor to cut the verges in Dalham and Dunstall Green, instructing as to the frequency and depth of the cut.  Verge cuts are typically undertaken three to four times each year, with variations in the cut based upon the time of year (a minimal cut in the spring for example).

West Suffolk Council is responsible for verge and grass cutting in some other areas in the Parish.

Updates about which areas are due to be cut each week are published by West Suffolk Council on the page above.  The work is numbered and that indicates the order they will be cut, but this is subject to change depending on issues such as weather and resource capacity.
